Review of Gunaydin @ Souk Al Bahar Dubai
If you are looking for upper end classy yet traditional dining than the Gunaydin at Souq Al Bahar is a must visit. Turkish cuisine like the Turkish culture is classy and captivating.
The art of inducing vegetables and meat is obvious when you try the 'Begendi Kebap' (marinted lamb pieces over eggplant) or the 'Lahmacum'( Turkish pizza with seasoned lamb).
The cold mezze or saslik are must tries too. Our favourite was the 'Gunaydin Special' which is a definite winner for any meat lover.
The special way the food or desserts are served by the waiters is a treat too. I tried the ' summer breeze' (mocktail - infusion of cherry syrup, ginger ale & lemon), while our dessert was the 'Katmer'- a delectable pistachio filled baked pastry with Turkish vanilla ice cream.
I am an ardent fan of this 'nefis' (tasty)diner, where one can be certain that they will get quality meat dishes that will be remembered.
